The Library of TAMRALIPTA INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT & TECHNLOGY is an integral part of the Institute since the establishment of the college in order to meet the information requirement of the faculty, Students & Staffs’.

With the development of information and communication technology, the behavioral characteristics of library users are changing rapidly, and the library is always trying its best to adapt to technological advancements. All book identities are fully bar-coded and with the KOHA package, library house-keeping operations such as acquisition, cataloging, circulation, and periodical services were automated. The automated library has a large collection of more than 3,500 printed books, journals, e-journals, e-books, magazines, newspapers.

The goal of the Library and Documentation Center are to facilitate the advancement of knowledge and excellence in education by providing a rich collection development policy, automated circulation system, question bank repository for every students. In addition, the library has a reading area, internet browsing terminal, open access magazine display and back-volume archive.
